Hello and welcome to my blog. This blog is considered my haven when everything...

Sunday Flea Market in Akihabara Here’s something I discovered while visiting Akihabara during my last trip. That It has its very own flea market. On Sunday afternoons, the main street is blocked to vehicle traffic and the area particularly near the station becomes a bit of a flea market – you can walk freely along the main avenue and many small vendors set up tables on the side streets selling various anime related merchandises which ranges from figures, CD’s, cosplay clothes, posters, accessories et all. You can find merchandise ranging from low quality items to bargain priced items of the highest quality or used goods. Once thing for sure is that you wont find any bootlegs of some sort. I found quite a lot of bargained priced figures and this flea market can be great for those on a budget, so make sure you put Akihabara on your Sunday plans when you visit!

Have you been to a Anime related Flea Market before?

  1. ooooh! I’m so jealous >< This would be dangerous for me if I were to spend any extended time there, since I'd want to visit every week! I am curious how they ensure that there are no bootlegs there. Also, did you get anything exciting?

  2. Nice, figures for cheap prices ^^
I would like to look around there and buy some things :D

  3. I had no idea such things existed, man, I kinda wanna go to one. I wonder how much I would spend on a flea markert like this.

  4. Ahaha wow, that’s something new! We have an anime flea market at a local mall every Sunday as well..so if I wanna spend some hard earned cash, that’s gonna be the place to go. XD

Man the Akiba one is real dangerous….something that I don’t really want but dirt cheap..ahaha so hard to resist. >o<

    • I didnt know there was one in Singapore, thats a surprise too!
The thing is with Akiba is that you have to always keep an eye on the price, nearly everywhere and anytime the price changes everyday, but somehow these vendors seems to sell bargain figures i cant even understand why lol

  5. Oooooh nendoroids and figmas for sale too. Nice sale there, though I’d personally have problems with trying to calm myself because it might be a bunch of bootlegs (even harder to properly assess if it’s not a bootleg since it’s IN japan -land of anime and all that =D)

  6. Wow, that looks awesome. Sadly, I missed out on the flea market because the year I went was the year that they shut down the pedestrian paradise thing because of the stabbings the year before.
