Sunday Flea Market in Akihabara
Here’s something I discovered while visiting Akihabara during my last trip. That It has its very own flea market. On Sunday afternoons, the main street is blocked to vehicle traffic and the area particularly near the station becomes a bit of a flea market – you can walk freely along the main avenue and many small vendors set up tables on the side streets selling various anime related merchandises which ranges from figures, CD’s, cosplay clothes, posters, accessories et all. You can find merchandise ranging from low quality items to bargain priced items of the highest quality or used goods. Once thing for sure is that you wont find any bootlegs of some sort. I found quite a lot of bargained priced figures and this flea market can be great for those on a budget, so make sure you put Akihabara on your Sunday plans when you visit!
