Tales of Akihabara
Fabrice Requin
Hello and welcome to my blog. This blog is considered my haven when everything...
I love going to Akihabara, who doesnt? Known as the Otaku and Electric City in Japan, it is one of the premier destinations in downtown Tokyo. It’s full of IT stuffs, electronics, anime, and maid cafe. Akihabara is a really fun area, there are all sorts of colorful signs with anime characters and girls dressed in maid suit can be seen on the street giving out leaflet.
It was a spontaneous first stop on my arrival in Tokyo given that the hostel I was staying at didnt want to check me in since I was 1 hour early, so didnt waste too much time in deciding where to go. As you can see, the day was cloudy and later rained quite a few times but the view is amazing.
The reason im writing this short post is to let you readers know that I will be posting various stories in the coming future concerning this Otaku Paradise and so I decided to create its very own page where youll find everything Akihabara.
Till next time ~

Very colorful. I love that giant Assassin’s Creed poster. Looking forward to more Akihabara stories.
Thanks, its nice to see at least none-moe poster because it stands out lol
Love the time I spent there, wish I did more window shopping. I also enjoyed a very hard down pour right as soon as I got out of the station. I ran to Mandarake with an umbrella haha
That sounds similar to one of my times, but instead mine broke because it was soo windy!
Ah yeah one day or more in Akihabara would be nice ^^
I would probably die from admiring the girls in maid outfits XD
I looks not that crowded on your pictures to my surprise.
So the hostel kicked you out?
It is said that you cant photograph or touch them because its illegal.
The day was a thursday late afternoon, I guess most of them were inside buying stuff!
Haha no The hostel said too come back during the official check-in time which was 3pm, ended up going there at 7 lol
yeah, yeah I know, I wouldn’t touch them.
haha but watching and accepting leaflets is ok ^o^
haha I see, you spent some hours there
What i meant was how its funny that its actually legalised lol
Nice photos, are those HDR?
Yes those pictures are in HDR.
